Mitchell Shaivitz (percussion)

A graduate of Towson State University, Mitchell has been playing drums since 1980. He has performed & recorded throughout the Mid-Atlantic region with many popular acts including: No Presents for Christmas, The Mark Wood Project, Bill Dickson and MTT. Bill Dickson had asked Mitch to perform an "unplugged" show. He showed up to the gig with a pair of congas and some hand percussion. Eventually, a small percussion layout soon turned into a larger set-up. In 1997 he was asked to join The Richard Walton Group as an extra percussionist for a few shows. Since then he's played on the last two CD's and now playing percussion on just about every track for the next release.Since then he's played on the last three studio CD's: "Junction", "Where Time Stood Still" and "Hear And Now" and occasionally filling-in on drums at live performances, when needed.
