Straight On Red

Straight On Red is an acoustic, faith based trio featuring Kevin Doxzen, Tecla & Richard Walton. They released their critically acclaimed, self titled debut CD in 2008. Straight On Red combines elements of a wide variety of musical backgrounds; encompassing 60 years of collective performing experience between them. Their improvisational live performances have captivated audiences and seasoned studio work have firmly established themselves in the Mid-Atlantic region. The group is based out of their church’s worship team in Ellicott City, Maryland. Straight On Red began when award winning songwriters/recording artists Richard Walton & Drew Davidsen branched out from the contemporary jazz genre of The Richard Walton Group with accomplished violinist/composer Tecla Walton and eventually with seasoned percussionist Kevin Doxzen.
